Centering the Main Part of an Image

Hi Guys, I have an image of a lightning strike and it is a bit far to the left.

Is there any program or procedure where i can move the main part of the image to a more central position.

Any suggestions most gratefully received. thank you

Leon

If it’s saved as a jpeg just use “Paint” to centre it by cropping and resizing or if you have Windows 10 , the Photo viewer has similar tools to Paint which can re centre , crop , resize etc....
Other folk may suggest a better solution
Hope the above helps

Perhaps some reading about the "Rule of Thirds", would help.

It may be fine as it is. It is a typical amateur composition thing, to think objects need to be centred. The best compositions are often not centred.
This applies to astrophotography too. How many times do we see people obsessing about perfect object centering.

Use DPP, it comes with every camera on CD.

Thank You, yes bojan I did forget about that as I haven't used that program for some time, and do recall that feature in the program, thank you
Yea Glen I do know of that procedure, but that can prove a bit tricky if one has no idea where that Lightning strike is going to land on the Frame.

BTW, I am using DPP for my post-processing (after stacking in DSS).
