Some interesting colours Derek. Which direction are you pointing - east?

I was trying to identify the red nebulas? Regards, John W.

Grouse capture, Derek, liking the blue vapour, mist, fog layer, earth reaching out into heavens, very cool !

Great shot Derek.

That zoom lens has performed well. It hard to get a decent astro lens for a Canon.

Thanks everyone been on the road of late but concentrating more on daytime scenery than nightscapes.Greg I,m quite happy with the lense but it is big and heavy on par with the Sigma 105.It would probably work better using a tracked mount but again its size is an issue on small trackers.Still I have found with its zoom features and f2 along with the Sigma 14mm these are the staple of my low light images. As an aside I have just got the Canon Rf 100-500 for the R6 which is a very travel friendly setup.
Derek
