Flat over-correction on RC8?

Hey all,

I seem to have an intermittent issue with my flats where it appears as though the dust spots are getting over-corrected or offset. Has anyone else experienced this before? I've attached two images of what it looks like. This was processed in APP and my setup is:

RC8 + TSFLAT
ASI2600
Baader Moonglow

It's important to note that I don't see these issues on my ED80 and it seems pretty specific to the RC8, matter of fact I think I started getting this issue after adding the corrector.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Did you use a flat dark to scale your flats?

Greg.

I use the CCDT67 for my RC and haven't had much to do with that flattener. I'll do some flats tomorrow and see what I get.

Nah, I've never actually used dark flats before. Do you think they'd help? It's just the same length flat frame but with the cap on right?

Did you try the dark flats? Did they help?

I have exactly the same issues here (and flats on my ED80 work perfectly as well).
