AR 3697 comes around the edge of the sun

Enclosed is a mosaic of three pictures showing AR 3697 (old AR 3664). This group is still very active. Perhaps there will be another opportunity here in Germany to document the high activity in Halpha. This mosaic was taken under very adverse conditions (clouds). Nevertheless, the instrument still shows a lot of detail at full aperture. But it would be even better if the atmosphere and the seeing would play along.

Hi Harald

That's a fabulous mosaic of a very interesting region.
Congratulations.
