R136

I haven’t taken a telescope outside in aggression for a while but I have been preparing for an astrophotography talk at a local photography club and hashed over some old data.

This is R136, a future site of a globular cluster in the LMC… Tarantula Nebula core! At around 1 million years old it is very new but this is going to be enormous in the next few million years so stay tuned

I love every image of this nebula. I think it's my favourite and this is a nice rendition with an interesting colour palette.
