Cat's Paw False SHO

Cat's Paw nebula in fake SHO as I use the zwo 294mc which is an OSC camera
Used Astropixel Processor and made a mono version of the image as the sulphur channel then did ha extraction and O3 extraction, recombined using the SHO rgb combination and tweaked the colours I didnt want the hubble pallete but wanted to bring out the blues and greens in a golden hue along with some red/magenta.

Starnett++ to remove the stars which I used later in a star mask. Worked on the nebulosity in Photoshop re-added the stars using the linear dodge blend.
Optolong L-enhance
ts130 APO
15 x5 and 3 x 10 minutes so 1.75 hours total
asiair pro for acquisition and guiding 120mm guide camera

A lot of effort Nik and it shows.

We always have the debate about Astro Art vs Astro Photography.

I think to bring out detail in anyway that works is the go.

I like it

I havent had a chance to shoot to shoot this with just the Lpro or a uv filter to get the coloured stars, the L-enhance and extreme tend to kill star colours.
cheers Bob
