stacking

can anyone tell me if there is a limit on frames for registax, every time when I have over 20k of frames the stacking stop after a short time and locks up

I don't use Registax to process large amount of frames, you'll find Autostakkert! more suited for this. Not aware of a limit in Registax but I'd say it would depend on the amount of RAM, disc space and CPU you have in your system.

i think registax might be an older 32 bit application thereby having a memory limitation. definitely go for Autostakkert!3 like Marc said. People still use registax but not for its stacking function they import the stacked image for the wavelet sharpening. https://www.autostakkert.com/
