Would anyone be interested in a Mountain Instruments MI-250 in very much worked on condition, Gemini I L4 controller, with all components (cables, handset, motors) but
without counterweights?
The saddle plate is not a new one and is worn (see pictures).
The mount has a history, worthy of note before expressing interest (see
this thread).
Alternatively I'm quite happy to pull it apart for anyone that is interested in a Gemini I control unit for their existing mount - putting it on a different mount might be a feat of engineering but I have motor to worm couplings for both the MI-250 and for a standard losmandy worm (erm...standard is an odd word...
these are the ones I have).
After working on it (replacing components, cleaning, inspecting, putting it all back together, re-greasing and testing), it is in passable condition but it's an old mount.
I'm willing to negotiate on price with anyone on the whole thing or on any component of it including the controller (PM me please) and am not sure what this is worth, so am having trouble coming up with a figure. If you are interested, feel free to discuss with me for what you feel is reasonable.
