Sh2-308 in HOO

Hi all
Just thought I would share my latest project of the dolphin nebula in Ha and Olll and RGB stars.
Telescope is a CDK14 with planewave F4.8 reducer on a 10 micron GM2000 mount with ZWO6200 mm and Antlia 3 nm filters. All up around 11 hours of data in 600 second exposures no guiding.

Amazing !
This is a very difficult object. I shot it in 2020 and 2023 when it was almost overhead, but my pic showed only a faint part of the circular blue patch. I was using a 110mm ED scope using 3 minute subs with only 1 hour integration.
It indeed requires a much larger aperture and longer integration, like you did.

Hi Mate
yes the CDK14 is great for picking up data, but 3 years ago i also did this object with a short FL askar600 and had good results, not as good as the CDK but its all down to 10 minute exposures no less if you want to bring up good detail IMO.
Cheers
