comet atlas g3

Hi there, this comet seems to be not too bad where i live.
i took some photos. just with my phone, one of horizon and a few pointed down my 4.5" tasco refractor focuser.
I might do some with my 10" dob in coming days if weather permits

Good job Tyrone! Your phone has done a pretty good job of that widefield. I can see the comet but what's that strange red halo around it? Those shots through the telescope eyepiece are rather good considering the difficulty holding the phone in the correct position by hand. Or did you have a phone holder attached to the focuser? Either way, it's shown the comet in good detail, well done.

just pointing the phone down the barrel here. i have a mount but it was s spur of the moment thing, hence only bringing small 4.5" tasco with me

i attempted having a look again tonight with the 10" i think maybe its power was its downside. everything was so bright i could barely make it out. the naked eye was a good night though. heres tonight's pic
