Lunar Eclipse 26 May 2021

While organising an Eclipsed Moon & Rho Oph Lunar/DeepSky image which didn't really work out as colourfully as I would have wished, (better prep next time & multiple cameras/mounts) so as not to wait another umpteen years, I quickly changed lenses and grabbed a single exposure of the moon near totality ....

Image captured from home in Melbourne skies on 26MAY2021 near eclipse totality at ~9pm. Single exposure of 8s @f/11 ISO100. Nikon D750, Nikon 1000mm f/11 Reflex & tracked with SW AZ GTi. Image cropped.

Cool shot. You've got a few stars in there too.

Thanks PK
Not sure why it didn't open for you. I just tried it now and 1st click opens it up and subsequent clicks make it larger.

Hi Dennis & Marc,

Thanks guys. I have lots more stars and almost nebulosity but very little colour in my lunar/Deep Sky Moon/Rho Oph attempt. I will post it later in case anyone is curious.

Best
