Ic 2944

Had another go at IC2944 a couple of nights ago.
Really just a guiding test as the moon was full.
Went a bit mad and took a single 5 minute sub, then a hand full of tens then though, what the heck and did 15 minute subs for the rest, totaling 4 hours and 25 minutes.

Ed80 with a 2" L-extreme filter and zwo533 mc pro.

Went for a false SHO palette, may have overcooked it a tad, but had fun

I think the guiding is working well - those stars look pretty round to me. :-)


Love the fine detail that's visible in the gas & dust streams, too. Great work.

Thanks Steve. yeah guiding is still a foreign language to me at the moment mate. I know i have only had a few sessions with guiding but i have only lost a single sub so far, touch wood it stays that way
