Miscellaneous images

A few images from a recent dark sky trip.

The Bubble Galaxy (NGC3521) and Corona Australis captured with an RC8 and ZWO 294MM Pro.

The Dragons captured with a little Evolux ED62 and a ZWO 1600MM-C

Astrobin versions at
https://www.astrobin.com/ohuy0x/E/
https://www.astrobin.com/ckr545/D
https://www.astrobin.com/77gs6q

Also at
https://www.astrobin.com/luec0g/D
is a version of the Dragons image with older images from the RC8 used to enhance the resolution on the dragons and the egg. So it is a huge image (the ED62 image upscaled by about 2.7x) with the majority of it fuzzy when zoomed in. But zoom in on the right bits and it retains its resolution. The click and drag zoom in Astrobin (click through to full page display and then click to zoom) works well for that. Astrobin seems to have an image size limit, which meant I had to reduce the size and image quality a little bit to enable the click and drag zoom to work.

Really good images there.

NGC3521 (one of my favourites) is superb.

Love seeing your posts Paul, always makes me imagine your trips away out to the dark foothills of the Flinders Ranges ...a true deep sky imager you are

NGC 3521 is such a cool galaxy, love it, although looking at full res I can see some remains of your decon/sharpening , there is some good detail in your shot there too I love that distant, almost face on, spiral galaxy just below 3521. Definitely a field I want to do (again) from up at Eagleview
