Mystery Bracket

I just bought a second hand Scope and this bracket was on it but I am not sure what it would be used for. Curvature seems to indicate it would be suited to a 150mm scope (or maybe a bit smaller but not sure). Square section on top is about 22 x 35mm.
Any ideas?

Hi
That is an finderscope shoe but I can't recall, or find what brand finderscope stalk fits the shoe but I've have seen them out in WWW land . What brand telescope did you buy that would help identification.

Thanks Jeff, It's a lot smaller than a standard finder shoe and it came on a C11 but it's definetly not meant for a C11 at that radius.
