Teriffic Takahashi EM-200 Temma2 Jr with plenty of extras!

*** now with pictures **

Hello!

I'm selling my beloved EM-200 Temma2 Jr since I want to get a bigger mount. I bought it off an Astronomy shop overseas when it was only a few months months old, and have owned it ever since.

It's the Goto model. I use it with a pier in a weathertight observatory.

The mount is in great condition and works wonderfully. I have had zero issues with it. The build quality of these mounts, the mechanical and goto accuracy, and the great polar alignment scope have been well documented, so I don't need to elaborate on it here. This is a best in class mount and i'm offering it at a very reasonable price.

In the default package you get
+ Takahashi EM-200 Temma2 Jr Goto mount
+ 2x Takahashi 5kg weights
+ Takahashi hand control
+ RS232 PC communication cable for the Temma
+ Sbig autoguider cable for the Temma
+ 2A 12V power supply
+ Vixen dovetail bracket
+ Instruction manual

Custom pier adaptor (easy to mount on any pier if you drill 3 holes)

If you have a Takahashi scope to put on it i'll also offer what I think is the best saddle and plate you can get, from Robin Casady
+ 8" Casady saddle for the EM-200
+ 14" Casady dovetail bar
Both have marks on them from use but work absolutely perfectly, as you'd expect given the cost of these things.

And as a sweetener for those who can pick up and save me the trouble of packing it all up - you get the pier for free!! The pier is rock solid and was originally used to support heavy machinery.

All in all everything in the default package cost me over 7000AUD. On top of that you get the value of not dealing with international shipping, insurance and the nice people at customs.
The Casady stuff cost me around 450AUD.
A pier adaptor from Takahashi costs lots, which is why I built one and its rock solid.

For the default package I'm asking $4300
For the default package + Casady mounting $4500
Shipping in Aus with Express Post Platinum (1 day delivery, fully insured and tracked) $150 (It's actually more but I'll cover the difference as I don't know where you are yet)
Pickup in Melbourne (near the airport) -> you don't pay shipping and you get the pier included.

My email is lorenz@dracks.net if you want to contact me about it or PM here is fine.

IIS has no feedback system, but you can check the other stuff I've sold on here by going to my profile and checking out my posts.
and, IIS is awesome!

thanks!
Lorenz
