What do you use to clean your L-series lenses?

Hi all,

I was looking at purchasing one of these Lenspens.

Am I making a horrible mistake?

Anyone have any other ideas, or, tried and tested cleaning tips?

Regards,
Humayun

'The Lens Pen is the only thing to use on your lenses H.
I Wouldn't and Don't use anything else.

Make sure you get the original Lens Pen, there are a lot of cheap imitations out there especially on the net.
I had a link to how to spot a fake, I'll try and find it for you.
I get mine from the Geographic Shops, that way I can check to make sure they are the original ones.

Andrew,

I was going to purchase it directly from their web site. I have read about the imitations. Not sure how to spot one -- if you can let me know, please.

Also, which Geographic Shops are you referring to? Australian Geographic?

Regards,
Humayun

You'll be safe if you buy from their website.
Yep, sorry, it was Australian Geopgraphic, I was lucky enough to purchase a box set with two pens, a mini pen, spray and cloth in a tin box and at the time they were celebrating their Aust. Geo. birthday sale with 50% off everything.

I'll see if I can find the info later tonight and post it.

I also use it on my LCD screen on my cameras and on my sunnies and eyepieces too.

OK I found it, they must have moved it from last time I saw it.
It's on the front page of the Lenspen website in pdf format, just click on the 'Important Notice' link.
