Lagoon Nebula

trying out my new L Extreme filter

nearly 7h of 2 minute exposures, from about 15h total, last few nights.
+darks/flats/dark flats all though not really needed.
SW 100mm f9 ED
Heq5
asi 533mcpro
L Extreme filter
phd2 guiding with asi 120 mm
APT for capture
Sharpcap for polar align
DSS for stacking
StarTools for processing.

Did you use the Compose module to load your data set ? As it gives you plenty of options in Colour under the Matrix presets for OSC narrowband like SHO , HOO etc...
I imaged M8 the other night and was able to produce about 6 different SHO versions using Compose ( Bi colour OSC ) using my 2600MC and L Extreme
I’m been an avid user of Startools for 4 years

@martin Thanks, I have only briefly dabbled with the compose option (on another target) I did read the thread on the startools forum between you and the author explaining the use of Compose for Narrowband OSC captures.

I will have to dig deeper into it.

How are you finding the L-Extreme? I don't like it as there was a huge amount of chrominance noise so I'm looking to sell it. I'm using it with the ASI2600MC.

Its early days but so far its beating all my expectations. It brings out detail I havent been able to capture previously and has produced better pics during full moon than I had previously on zero moon.
