photometry hardware

Hello,
I have a ZWO ASI290mc and a 9.25" Celstron Edge HD .

I'm trying to use this to produce lightcurves, but realise my small FOV is limiting my ability to get comparison stars.

I'm thinking I should.
1. get a camera that gives me a greater field of view
2. Get a MONO camera

Have my sights on ASI2600 MM

IT is cooled, produces FITS files

Has anyone had any luck with this camera in the field of Photometry?
Any other thoughts? suggestion of camera?

Thanks

Joe
