I don't have an Asiair, but imaging time and AF time are different things. You main image time is you light frames, and AF time is purely to get an image with enough stars to gather HFD data to focus with using automated focusing, usually up to a couple of seconds exposure for OSC or LRGB imaging but far longer for narrowband filters.

Thanks Paul , now I understand, what would you recommend the setting should be for narrow band? 😊

Hard for me to say as I have never gone there, but the default focus times for Voyager (The imaging software I use) are from memory, 3 seconds for broadband and 15 for NB.

It is really a case of suck it and see,Try 15 seconds for the NB filters and see how it goes is the best advice, if it does not detect enough stars (Assuming full field focusing) then maybe try 20 and go up from there.
