M7 area with Askar FMA135 f4.5 Triplet APO on D5300

I am putting this up as a link to my Astrobin Gallery location, as reduction in size to suit the IIS rules make wide field shots look incredibly washed out.
This was a Test of my new Askar FMA135 f4,5 Triplet APO lens on my Nikon D5300. Details of the acquisition are on the Astrobin page, but basically it was 25 x 30sec subs, with Bias and Darks. Processed in DSS and Photoshop Elements 12.

If you push the View button on the top Orange banner, you can go to a full size file.

Thanks for the link Glen they are jaw dropping images and certainly the wide field captures suffer greatly on a downsize...you must be very happy with that lens...heck anyone thinking about astro photography could not go wrong starting with that lens...I did some pixel peeping and really it is hard to fault the stars.

AND I could not help looking at your other images and got a surprise..they are brilliant..well done.

Thanks Alex. The versatility of the Askar FMA135 lens is pretty impressive. Not only is it a direct connect DSLR ED flat field lens, but it can convert to a guide scope, or view finder, with the included adapters, including a guide or finder scope foot..
