Solar Action

Hi All

In the early hours of this morning, 17:37 UT ( 06:37 ! EADST ) AR2975 released an X1.3 solar flare and an Full Halo CME. This is on top of several M and C class flares in the preceding 24 hours , some that released Full Halo CMEs' as well, that could spark Kp7 auroral activity. Unfortunately they are due to arrive tomorrow morning our time, in daylight.

The following CME from the X class flares' arrival has not been predicted yet but there may be some hope of decent auroral activity for the southern part of the country, Vic and Tassie. At least the clouds are forecast to clear somewhat from Sunday evening for us in the NSW SE.
