Heavenly Palace Chinese Space Station over Newcastle

last night the Chinese space station Tiangong or Heavenly Palace made an exellent pass over Newcastle. I had the 10 inch scope and EOS Ra camera set up for it, prefocused camera accurately on a star then waited for Tiangong to pass over, manually pushing the scope keeping Tiangong centred in the finderscope as best I could while firing the shutter with the remote release.

Camera set to RAW, ISO 800, 1/3000sec 1400mm f5.6. I would have loved to have captured the Inspiration 4 crew dragon too but there were no good pass overs in its 3 day mission. Cheers. Scott

Well done Scott! ...although it looks a bit like "the heavenly toothbrush"!

Haha thanks. A fast tracking mount would be good as manually pushing the scope around is hard.
