• 250mm GSO/Bintel Dob – latest design (adjustable tension handles + ”lazy Susan” azimuth bearing and “Bob’s Knobs”-type collimation screws).
• Astro Devices “NEXUS” digital setting circles, with >7,000-step encoders (costs >$700 new). With 240v, car cigarette lighter outlet and USB chargers.
• GSO/Bintel 8x50mm finder.
• No eyepieces, but 1.25”/2” adaptor.
• Collimation set (sight tube, Cheshire EP and autocollimator) + instructions.
OTA is standard, as per GSO/Bintel ads on Net. Following mods and enhancements have been done to make the scope more user-friendly:
• On “dolly/trolley” with brakes, so it can be easily moved on concrete (see photo 1).
• Adjustable “music stand” shelf - Ipad/tablet can sit next to the Nexus, connected via WIFI (see photo 2).
• Inline switch and red monitor light in fan circuit, so that you don’t leave fan running any longer than necessary, thus conserving battery pack and avoid having to insert the cable into the tiny socket in the dark (see photo 3).
• Carry strap at tube balance point, for when scope has to be separated from mount (see photo 4).
• Shroud to keep dust off when in storage (see photo 5).
• Removable “bonnet” on primary end, keeps spiders out of the main mirror cell (see photo 1).

This scope has only been used a handful of times and is very clean.
