Guide Camera Recommendations

Looking for a Guide Camera which has a sensor that is sensitive in the IR >800 region.

Any suggestions.

Hi Hans,

The standout cameras to meet your needs used to be the ZWO 290mc or ZWO 290mm, but now there is a new camera, the ZWO 462MC which has a QE of ~90% in the 800-1000 nm range. That is twice that of the QE of the 290mc according to ZWO here....

Interestingly, in the >800nm wavelength range the camera is effectively monochrome as seen in the graph below.
