First of I would like to thank Jahn & Martin for being instrumental in helping me get to the point im at today. My first weekend of shooting 3 nights in a row and im pretty stoked with the results. Any constructive criticism is very welcomed please do so.

I really want to work on the post processing side of things now. I have been trailing DSS and APP and still up in the air on both. I shot 25 darks and 25 flats at the same settings I was shooting my lights at. 25 seconds, ISO 800.

The Carina Nebula I edited as a single shot with adobe light-room but I have over 400 shots on that now just need to process and stack.

The Lagoon is stacked in DSS, 80 subs @ 25 seconds ISO 800.

Jay
Great effort with short exposure images
Focus looks satisfactory and well framed
Well done !!
Your well on your way now, keep things simple, keep reading and watching YouTube’s etc...keep asking questions and learning as much as you can
Maybe try 30sec to 40sec exposures next time to see how good your polar alignment is and how your mount tracks
Glad to be of some help to get you off the ground into this amazing hobby

A couple of great images Jay. Very clean, beautiful colours and an abundance of tiny sharp and well saturated stars throughout. Well done!
