Rainbow moon

I have only seen this effect once or twice before. The moon had several rainbow type rings around it last night.
It seems high ice clouds were refracting the light.
A beautiful sight.
I hand held the kids crappy camera so excuse the quality. The phenomena is known as Aureole.

That's what I saw from Adelaide as well. I thought about getting the camera out but . . .

Thanks for posting it.
