APM 12.5mm Hi FW eyepiece
Just a quick post to say what an amazing eyepiece this is. Using an AP130GT F6.3 open clusters are just glorious with the smaller stars totally pinpoint in size. It shows up a few more tiny stars as well compared to other eyepieces.
I would highly recommend this eyepiece which is modelled after the famous Dokter 12.5mm (which is now available again at something like AUD$1300).
These APM eyepieces are standouts for me. I like the weight and heft - like a nice Takahashi Telescope and the high quality build.
I also had a nice view through my Pentax XW 7mm and barlow on Saturn. I am realising why these eyepieces are held in high regard. Very high performance and great eye relief for a comfortable view.
