28th August Sun images

28th August. Central Vic.
These images follow on from yesterdays images of the sun's southern region. There was a row of prominences today along the SW limb.

The yellow image is at 540 nm, the orange one at Ha wavelength.

Both single exposure images with a Canon 550d camera.

Thanks for viewing.

Thanks Bob and Gerard. There was a M4.7 flare from this active region as well. I replaced the second image with a reprocessed one which turned out better. Regards John W.
