Meade etx90

Hi all.

Regrettably sold my 8se a few yrs back and my young daughter is beginning to show a bit of interest in astronomy, especially the moon and planets. Was thinking that the Meade etx 90 could be the way to go, due to its affordability and size for transportation. Thoughts anyone?
Also any opinions on how this little set up would cope with attaching my canon 70d for lunar/planetary photography or perhaps one day a reasonable ccd?

There is a Meade 105 etX for sale in the classifieds at the moment which would be great, just need the Adapter to connect the camera should be fine.

Thanks for the heads up David. Must of overlooked it. Shame not local or I’d make an offer but cheers anyways. Might just be patient and see if one local pops up here. Prob worth while if I can afford to go a bit more aperture the more I think about it. Whether it’s a 125 Meade, or Celestron 5se or 6. No bigger than a 6se
