34% waxing crescent moon 5 July 2022

The 34% waxing crescent moon from tonight. Mosaic of five separate images. A separate image of Langrenus crater close to the limb.

I love a good Moon photo, I really enjoy looking at the features, their textures and the interplay of light and shadow. Nice captures.

Probably comes from growing up with the excitement and thrills of watching the live Apollo Missions.

Yes they were heady days. From Sputnik to landing on the moon was a very short length of time (12 years). Amazing.
