the reddish feature near the middle ... is Australia

NASA has posted a HiRISE image of Earth n Moon, i reckon a pretty neat flip of us looking for features on Mars last apparition.

Puts it all into perspective! I love that Australia is the central feature.

The Moon is about 3,500km in diameter. Similar to but not quite the width of Australia at 4,000km.

Regards, Rob
