NEQ6-pro synscan lat/long setting

Weird thing on my scope, I'm at Culburra Beach at the moment with lat/long 35.93 / 150.76.

For some reason my synscan goto won't accept those values for lat/long. The .93 and .76 seem to be too high for it to accept, will only accept lower numbers. What's the go there, anyone know?

The only other site I've setup at had low points for lat/long.

Does it need to be under 60 (seconds)? Do I convert the 93/100 to something ?/60?

Cheers!

that it rejects values with fractional parts greater than 0.59 suggests the handset is expecting degrees and minutes, not decimal degrees.

35.93 as decimal degrees is 35.56 in DD.MM for example.

Multiply the decimal part by 0.6.

Synscan wants degrees, minutes and seconds.

Degrees is easy, just use it then multiply the remainder by 60 to get minutes, then subtract the minutes and multiply the remainder by 60 to get seconds...
