Help identify telescope

G’day,
This is my first post and really don’t know anything about telescopes but I came across this interesting piece locally and was hoping to get some information on this scope. It has a plate with the name WRAY LONDON & that all I can see looking over it. It is extremely heavy & appears to be made Bronze & Brass. It came with a box of bits and pieces but I don’t know if it’s complete.
Thanks in advance
Grant.

Hi Grant,

I suggest you post this same request on Cloudy Nights Classics forum. There are many knowledgeable members that can best help you. It is certainly a rare and valuable telescope especially if there is any documented history to go with it.

If you Google “Wray telescopes” you’ll find many interesting links.
Did you acquire this locally??

Hi Ken,
I did have a bit of a look on google, couldn’t find much info on Wray regarding telescopes.
Yes i acquired locally but I was told it came from Grafton NSW originally.
Cheers.
