Veil Nebula

A single shot taken at prime focus with a Canon M50 camera, coupled with a Vixen ED 115 on an old EQ5 mount (so no auto guider). A Baader L Booster UHC -S Filter was used.

The 60 second exposure was at ISO 5000. There has been no processing of this shot other than to reduce its size to fit this posting.

Taken last night.

Very faint but it's definitely there - well done! You must have a relatively clear view towards the horizon as this this one doesn't get high in the sky (well, not from Canberra). I'd love to capture it but I'll need to get out town to do that.
