Lunar images 8 August 2022

Some lunar images we took last night, 8 August. The main craters on each image are Clavius, Copernicus and Plato. Images taken with 6" SCT, ASI178MC and 1.5x barlow.

Hi P&C,
Would you have any issues with the student I am mentoring in the ACT Science Mentoring Program making use of the Clavius image in her research project?
Both the MSATT observatory and mine are having foul luck getting clear skies at the right time for it. I got as far as focussing the other night.

If it is okay for her to use it, how would you like it referenced?

Neville,
LSO

Hi Neville,

That is fine. If you would like a high resolution image instead of the 200K limit for the forum just PM us and we'll organise sending it to you. Happy to have it referenced as being from two amateur astronomers in Melbourne.

Thanks, I'll pass that info to them once they get back to me.

Part of the deal is that they have to have the get up and go to initiate some things themselves.

Can be difficult with introverted HS kids sometimes!

Cheers,

Neville
