8th Aug The Sun

8th August 2022. A reasonably clear sky today but rough and windy so not the best conditions. Three images were taken - one at 540 nm to show the sunspots and active regions, and two at 656 (Ha) wavelength. All single exposures with a Canon 550d camera. Seven Ar's are shown and numbered. Ar 3068, 3072 and 3073 are about to disappear over the western limb. There is a new small sunspot between 3071 and 3074.
Thanks for viewing.

Nice images again John. A shame you had wind. It was actually almost completely calm in Melbourne today - a beautiful day.
