Correcting Field Curvature in Photoshop

Hi IIS
I’m considering purchasing a second hand 130mmrefractor that is way out of my league!

Plan to use an asi1600mm pro camera (so not full frame) for small/medium sized DSO

Question is this:
How well could software (photoshop CC in my case) correct for field curvature in lieu of a dedicated field flattener ?

Thanks in advance

Will
