ASV new Observatory proposed for Caulfield Racecourse Reserve

The proposed observatory will consist of a state-of-the-art telescope dome. It will house a 20-30-inch mirror-sized telescope, a solar telescope, an astrophotography dome, and an all-abilities telescope and dome, which will allow people of all ages and abilities to view the stars with a specially-modified telescope comfortably. The observatory is also set to house an auditorium, which will be able to hold approximately 300 people for astronomy lectures, including science, technology, engineering, and maths (STEM) sessions for primary and high school students."
