Rotator

Hi all,

How does everyone change their framing?

I got all set up, starting taking images, then wanted to reframe. I loosened my Baader clicklock collar and rotated the whole image train, then tightened back up. After doing that, things went haywire. It was like the EQ6R Pro mount didn't know where it was anymore.. using ASI Air Pro.

Does this happen to anyone else? Been looking at rotators since, are those as good as their hefty price tag might call for? Open to suggestions.

Thanks,

Hey Andrew, After you rotated the camera, did you recalibrate the guider?
If not the guiding will be confused & send the mount in the wrong direction.
Cheers
Andy
