On the road at Astrofest

Had a great time taking Landscapes with Allan, Alison and Ed... thanks for the company

All shots taken with a Sony A7r and Samyang 35mm F1.4 lens

Exposures between 15 - 20 sec at iso 1600

Processed in Pixinsight

It's good to see more people getting out for midnight walks. It really is a very photogenic landscape.

Love the milkyway shot above the tree. Looks like a fire. And that LMC just hovering there. That must have been 3 or 4am. You're an early bird.

These are great. Particularly like the ones with the Magellanic Clouds. Awesome to be able to capture that much detail in a nightscape.
