Reason: Price drop
Was a clear glass or silica window substituted for the original uv/ir filter when the camera was modded, or was nothing installed? I.e. when viewing in focus through the viewfinder is the image in focus?
Hi,
This camera was already modded when I bought it, so I don’t know the details.
Only that it was sold as “full spectrum modified” and that it has worked well for me with both daytime IR and night photography.
However I can confirm that autofocus works with all the lenses I have tried, and that when I manual focus through the optical viewfinder, the focus is correct (I just checked this morning by manual focusing on a ruler at an angle, and pixel peeping at the result.)
