Busy night under the eclipsing red moon

Everyone was out on the coast looking at the totality. The planes are busy now too.

Great nightscape, well thought out composition. Taken from the infamous Seacliff bridge perhaps with Stanwell in the distance.

Thanks Marc. I forgot my long lense for the tracker so I had to my make do with just the panorama. It was very windy and blew over the tripod at one point so could have done with a heavy lense.

Thanks Jeff. Yes the bridge that no one knew they didn’t want and surprisingly quiet there except the passing traffic. Too much swell on the rocks. A young photographer stopped by as he said there was too big a crowd up on bald hill.

PS . Shame the view button obscures the moon!

Maybe this will fix the moon-in-the-corner trick. The last ten minutes before totality
(Nup. Still behind the zoom button)
