Yes, I am very happy with the camera, with Bortle 4, and low in the sky the data is not too bad.

This was my last night in Broken Hill and it was in the 90 minutes before dawn, otherwise I would have taken more subs.

10yrs ago this was captured in 4 mins. 8x 30 secs 8" newt, Canon 1100D, ISO 1600, JPEG, unguided, noise reduction enabled, all done in Deep Sky Stacker.
The aperture of the scope is nearly as important as the sensitivity of the camera.

Hi Raymo.
That's true, but I feel equally important is a nice dark sky as I never use narrowband. Comparing my 5 minute subs taken here in Broken Hill suburbia with 5 minute subs from a dark sky site near Ivanhoe shows a vast difference. What is the Bortle Scale value for Margaret River?
