M17

M17 in SHO/HSO. 49ha, 35oiii, 27sii 3 minute exposures.

Straight unstretched colour combination recombined in DSS and stretched in PS. With an RGB,for comparison.

Funky star diffraction may be the cable to the secondary heater.

Thanks Marc. Very well positioned for that run of clear nights. With a flip in the middle, each filter done before midnight on three nights.

Thanks fellas. My first choice was one of the faint galaxies and this was second.
Easier to centre this one early.
