NGC 6334 Cats Paw Nebula ( First image )

This is my first attempt at the Cats Paw after 4 years of AP, never had the right camera or filters to give it a shot. Moon was up at 70% so used my L Extreme filter
NexDome Obs
8” f5 GSO newt
Skywatcher EQ6-R pro mount
ZWOASI2600MC set in Ascom to Highest Dynamic Range cooled to -10C
Optolong L Extreme OSC Muliband filter
58 x 3 minute dithered guided subs
PHD2 Multistar guiding ( 0.70 arc sec error total )
Tracking and Goto EQMOD and Ascom Stellarium
Framed focused and captured with APT
Stacked in DSS
Processed in Startools V1.7 (Compose OSC Bi Colour ) using various SHO and HOO options in the Matrix
First time since using my 2600MC for nearly a year now that the image ended up with more noise than usual ( not excessive but abnormally higher ) So this reflected in the quality of the final image
Still happy I snagged my first Cats Paw

1 x RGB Colour version
3 x SHO versions
1 x OOH version
1 x Synthetic Luminance version

Comments most welcome
Thanks

Good one M

The red image seems to show the most detail.

Thanks Alex
If the saturation was any higher the images would morph into a Ken Done mural

Cheers

Peter,
Cheers
I thought the red was least appealing but I’ll take your compliment with thanks
Martin
PS: The SHO Tan coloured blend has good detail too

Thanks Marc
I agree no.1 captures more subtle detail , the others except Lum are a tad washed out with too much dark saturation
Cheers
