Power bank for Nexstar Evolution 8

Hi All

I have a Celestron Nextstar Evolution 8
which features a rechargeable battery, which is great
But can we use a power bank as a backup to power the scope
If the internal battery is low ?

Or will a power bank damage the internal battery?
If so what power bank would you recommend
Appreciate your time

Hi Chris...

something like this, connected to a car battery or SLA might do the trick...

https://www.bintel.com.au/product/te...-power-cables/

i'd ring up the vendor to make sure though...

there are a few power banks around that output 12v but they are rare and expensive...
