Loadstar instead of ZWO for guiding

I have another thread in which I outline my problem that only one zwo camera seems available.
I have done the usual reading relating to the problem and Sil has kindly offerred some help and suggestions in that thread.
However I get the impression that two zwo cameras seem to create problems and it seems many like to use a loadstar as the guide camera.
What do you think?
Will my problems be less if I use a loadstar instead of a zwo and is their any other benefit going for loadstar?

Alex, I have had problems with the ASI120 in the past but moving to an ASI290 mini solved all driver conflicts.

Hi Glen
I hope you are well.
It does seem that I may be faced with getting another camera at least.
Thanks for sharing your experience.

I have had a lodestar for years now also have asi1600 and for awhile the asi120. I tried the 120 as a guide camera to see how it would go and had no issues running both ZWO cameras they show up in the ascom list as ZWO 1 and ZWO 2 . What I did find was the the lodestar is probably 2x as sensitive and a way better guide cam for OAG at least.
