Solar 15092021

A CaK image with the latest 90mm Vixen set-up.
Under good seeing I think it will give some very nice images.

MiniSHG 9sec scan in H alpha. The AR remnants and a few filaments show well.

The extracted prom image shows a well formed loop in the north east.
Enjoy!

Pretty impressive Ken. Getting better all the time. Compared to the Gong images your shots are showing much more detail, in particular that prom. Great stuff.

Nice series Ken, I'll have to swot up on my new beaut "Solar Astronomy" book to help me kick start my day time astrophotography endeavours again.

Cheers
