Refractor OTA for SA mount

Hi

I'm keen to purchase a good used Refractor OTA, something suitable for my Star Adventurer and Modified Canon 5D mk2.

Was thinking an ED60 ish size, or light weight 70?

Let me know what you have ok.

Cheers

Graham

Have a Celestron LT70 -- have two, or an Celestron 70 Astromaster, long version, or 80mm Saxon. Up at Tweed heads two days a week.

buying a larger scope.

Hi Peter "Skytry"

Thanks for your PM, I was unable to send you a PM in return. I checked out your model scope online, It's not quite what I'm after though. An 80 size is a bit on the heavy side for my mount. A 60 or light 72 might be the go. Something in the 1.8kg to 2.2kg max range.

Thanks all the same

Cheers

Hi mate.

Thanks for the info. Your model scopes aren't quite what I am after sorry. Ideally a short refractor, something ideal for imaging. WO61, Red Cat etc, is more what I am thinking. Or anything I'm not aware of out there, that's similar, less expensive as well would be good.

Cheers

Thanks guys for your messages. I bought a Sharpstar 76BDHP on the weekend. Having a ball with it, great little scope!

Cheers

Graham
