Dave, I'm not a huge anime fan, but, if you are, you seriously have to check out Samurai Champloo. It was created by the same mob that did Cowboy Bebop. It is absolutely superb! Had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. Check it out on IMDb.

Also, the most random anime I have ever seen is FLCL. In fact, it was so random, they only managed six episodes! See if you can get that, too, for some incredible artwork.

Regards,
Humayun

But now you have to say how youthful I look for an old bag.
If he won't I will.

You look youthful - for and old bag.

Off topic - sounds good, although I've never seen Cowboy Bebop either. I'm still very much a newbie when it comes to anime.

It's sad when you have to fish for the compliments.

When I was a kid I think I adjusted very well to the idea of old age. It wasnt until I got older that I realised, hey, I think they mean its going to happen to me too. That was a blow.

Like others on this forum I am camera shy and have very few images of myself other than our wedding photograph album. Given that the latter were taken almost 39 years ago any one of them would be somewhat irrelevant.

So I'm attaching one taken about a year ago. It is of me leaning against our 'new' second-hand car. You will note that it's a station wagon ('Estate' to those of you in the U.K.). The reason for that was twofold; firstly because I often carry cartons to the post office and secondly, of course, because it would be easier to load the dob mounted Newtonian. Needless to say the Newt. has yet to leave home. *sighs*

My apologies for the dreadful image, but it's the best that I can find.

I couldn't take a pic of my DSLR and CCD Rigs together, so I got a mate to come over with his and shoot us all together...I tell you what, my lens is 18-55. His is 17. That one millimetre makes the world of difference when it comes to getting more of the dome in from that limited distance!

Hi everyone. I have not been on the site often. I just came back from a first ever trip overseas...to the Kennedy Space Centre in Florida!! I did the ATX astronaut training Xperience and got to fly the sim etc. Other than that I toured the whole Kennedy Space Centre. If you ever can go there you must!!!!!! I missed the launch of Discovery by 4 days!! Even after staying one extra day till the 25th, and it never took off then either. Thanks for reading!
